Lots of birds in the area and lots of shooting, but birds were flaring off the blind. Only flat spot on the check and highlighted by the hay – rest of the check is green brown while area around blind is gold. I spent some times replacing tall bundles on the stakes around the blind and tossed some of th fallen rice grass over the hay to give a blend of colors. Looks like a good shooter, I’ll try again.
