Lots of ducks (pintail/widgeon) and geese in the area and seem like they want to work but end up just staying high. Most of the decoys were pressed up against the check this morning. I moved them back the best I could, but I don’t think some of the weights are heavy enough to hold them. I also moved all of the speck stakes to the shore because they were submerged. It’s gotten deeper out here and it’s muddy in the pond. I had a hard time running my mojo because of the depth of the pond. I think we can get more action here if we found a way to camouflage the blind better. Maybe we could pull in some material and add some straw stakes or something. Nice wind this morning, and I enjoyed the sun coming out at the end.
