Managed to get two widgeon to decoy nicely in right at shoot time. Had a few shots at geese but whiffed those. Large grinds of geese all over the area but the larger groups have zero interest in coming over the blind. Managed to call in some solos and pairs but all just a bit too high. Vast majority of ducks are out in the river in the flood waters. I drove down Garden Hwy on the way back home and there’s a TON of water (and a TON of debris in the water) so it’s going to be hard to get them off that for a while. If you’ve got a duck boat now’s your time to shine.
